Guitar Learning Mistakes How to Avoid Them and Play Like a Pro Watch this free 5 minute video: ![]() Guitar Mistakes |
Picture yourself in a serene, tropical paradise with a warm gentle breeze lightly blowing through an open and airy room that has a soft and atmospheric quality, as you hear the velvety and melodious songs of "Beauty and Fire" by Tomas Michaud drifting all around.
Michaud takes his talented flair of playing acoustic Flamenco guitar and melds it ever so gracefully to silky and delicate melodies. His abilities to lure you into his music starts with the very first song and title track, "Beauty and Fire," with an elegant guitar that stirs a vision of peace and serenity.
Not only will the soothing guitar melt your heart, but the simple
yet effective percussion sounds of "Embrace in the Mist" and "My
Secret Cave" seem to intermingle with charming style. A beautiful
piano and violin embellish the tender and heartwarming song
"Beginnings-Prelude to Paradise," while the guitar plays with
affectionate appeal.
If you need to take
the edge off from having a bad day, then serve up your favorite refreshment,
sit back and enjoy the wonderful contemporary instrumental guitar music of
"Beauty and Fire," and let it take you away to peaceful bliss.

This collection of music is something you wish would loop endlessly
from morning to night. If my ears had taste buds I would say it
was an aromatic international blend of far away delight. The kind
of palette that would tantalize even the most discriminating of tasters.
This will bring you into focus, stop writers block and sooth any party
attendee into sharing their passion, instead of everyday commonality.
In summation: It is a gift that will continuously give if you buy it for
yourself. If it is a gift to someone else, then know you will be
thanked gratefully every time they chose to listen. A true
treasure to those in need of breaking away from daily mundane practice.
Thank you Tomas for such a gift of giving from my ears, my heart and
soul.

"I really enjoyed this CD. It is so lyrical in nature and the melodies lend themselves to singing along. I am a singer and I found myself singing harmonies with a number of the songs. Inside of the CD cover it says: "I pluck the strings of my guitar and with each note I hear your voice gently singing in the background." I read this AFTER I listened to the CD, and that totally reflected what I was thinking.
The music is so incredibly soothing it's seems to put me in a peaceful, meditative state. I would strongly recommend this CD to anyone as a way to unwind after a stressful day. Thanks for the wonderful gift of your music."

Beauty and Fire is more than the title of Tomas Michaud's newest
CD. It is the very embodiment of his music. A stirring blend of brilliance, mystery, tenderness, longing, joy and so much more.
I especially love Embrace in the Mist because it conveys such a variety
of energy, of feelings, of passions.
My spirits are lifted, my heart is full, and I am ever grateful as I am
drawn into the light and love that is beauty and fire."

Beauty and Fire" just about says it all. From quietly simmering tracks like "Lotus in the Moonlight" to upbeat numbers like "Tribute", Tomas's latest release would be a welcomed addition to any lover of melodic, guitar-based music.

The CD case sets the tone for the subtle sexiness of the gift that unfolds with the first song Beauty and Fire. The case itself is a work of art in itself !! I really can't pick one song over the other, since each gives me such a different experience.
With Beauty and Fire, I see a collage of dancers from belly dancers to a simple romantic slow dance.
- As the heartbeat in Embrace in the Mist quickens, the rhythm stirs the body to move at the same pace.
Tango in Paradise is strong yet gently moves you across the room.
My Secret Cave is like skipping through the market on a sunny day taking in all the sights, sounds and tastes of the market. You might want to consider a name change for that one.
Gipsy Heart is full of mystery and at the same time playful. It pulls you in then pushes you away...love that!!
Tribute reveals to me the colorful skirts gently flowing as the dancers twirl and spin with their castanets.
Morning Grace is a slow stroll on the beach as the sun rises.
Living in the Wind sends me on a journey to places unknown and surprising.
Lotus in the Moonlight is haunting and romantic at the same time.
Night into Day reminds me of the freshness in the air after a storm.
Two Hearts into One paints the picture of the drama of a love affair with its different styles and tempos.
As you can see I really love this and find it hard to pick just one.
Thanks again for brightening my world.
